Sneak Peek: Meadors – Gould Wedding

We were so very thrilled to be a part of Charlotte and Taylor’s (whirlwind) wedding weekend! We were part of a great team of vendors for both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding day. The weekend was photographed beautifully by Picture This! Photography. Here are a few of our favorites — head over to our Facebook page soon to see the whole album!

First, a quick look at the rehearsal dinner centerpieces at Canoe — we had such a great time designing these with Taylor’s mom! These colorful centerpieces are perfect for an outdoor Springtime rehearsal dinner.

Next — the wedding day! Charlotte’s bouquet of white peonies was accented with a custom handkerchief and family heirloom Bible — so sweet! Her bridesmaids bouquets featured hints of purple with the loveliest lavender lilac we’ve seen in a while!

At the reception, our custom lavender medallion linen complemented more stunning purple tones, including deep purple hydrangea popped against whites and greens. We accented the outdoor tent at the Capital City Club with one of our iron fountains and added ambient lighting with our silver chandeliers. It was truly a wonderful night to remember!

Last but not least, the gorgeous cake by Frosted Pumpkin was accented with Charlotte’s favorite — more lavender lilac — with fresh gardenias at the base. A custom textured cake table linen complemented it beautifully.

The team at Watermark Weddings coordinated the weekend so well — it was our pleasure to work with such an all star cast of vendors! Congrats again to Charlotte and Taylor, and as always, our best wishes for happily ever after!

Event Archives: Pure Elegance Wedding Event at the High Museum – 2008

I’m so excited to dip back into the Tony Brewer & Company Event Archives to share this gem with you today! Back in 2008, we partnered with Atlanta’s High Museum and Atlantan Brides Magazine for Pure Elegance at the High, a dinner event for wedding planners.

I love the setup we did for dinner: long feasting tables covered in pretty ivory paillette linens and accented with tall, silver candelabra filled with lush pink, lavender, and green florals. Interspersed between these were low versions in chic silver compotes. They are the perfect touch for Southern wedding centerpieces. Mint julep cups brought even more Southern charm to the design. We then upped the outdoor garden feel with green fern-covered walls that look just like natural hedges. (Watching our floral crew makes these hedge walls it out of this world, you guys.) Then, seating areas were created using our low white banquettes with cocktail tables. Check it out:

After dinner, guests went outside and were treated to dessert served next to a twilight wedding ceremony setup. Tony and our floral designers worked a look for an arbor or chuppah with more natural greenery and lush Southern flowers. Oversized topiaries on pedestals added to the elegant Southern garden theme.

I love that our coordinators, designers, and floral crew is filled with so many different ideas and looks — one event may be themed after a Southern garden, like this, and then we will be charged with a elegant affair with glitz and glamour. Our versatile talents were definitely shown off at this event, but stay tuned for the next Event Archives post where you will see a different side to the Atlanta event design team at Tony Brewer & Co!
