Georgia Getaways

International vacations are fabulous, but every now and then we like to explore areas a little closer to home.  Georgia is a beautiful state with a large variety of vacation options from beaches to mountains and vineyards.

Here are several vacation ideas close to home.

Beaches

Georgia has stunning beaches!  We recommend Tybee Island which is a short 20 minute trip outside of Savannah.  Tybee Island is fun and relaxed without the hustle and bustle of major beach locations in other states.  You can completely relax for a long weekend, or visit for a day while you are in Savannah.

Mountains

North Georgia is so close, but it is often overlooked when city dwellers are planning weekend getaways.  There are numerous cabins and bed & breakfasts that offer stunning views for those who just want to relax and immediate access to the trails for adventurous hikers.

Vineyards

Georgia has a wonderful cluster of vineyards right up Georgia 400, so grab your bikes and take a tour of the “wine country”.  Vineyards are beautiful places where you can sit back and enjoy the scenery while learning about the history of some very interesting family businesses.

Spring is Here!

Spring is absolutely our favorite time of year.  Atlanta is in full bloom with weddings, galas, and planning for the fall and winter, so we wanted to let you in on some of the fun.

Tony’s Travels:  Tony is spending time in the lovely city of Istanbul with one of our favorite clients.  Upon his return, he is heading down to Savannah, one of his favorite cities, to work on several major events.  We love living and working in Atlanta, but we also love collecting inspiration from all over the world.

The Atlanta Heart Ball:  The 2011-2012 Atlanta Heart Ball is taking place this weekend at the Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead.  We are honored to be a part of this fun event that raises money for a great cause.

The American Heart Association

The High Museum Atlanta Wine Auction:  The 2012 High Museum Wine Auction “salutes the glorious grape” while raising money for the High Museum.  We love working with the High, and we are excited to help them bring together “wine, art, food, and friends.”

Fall and Winter Planning: We love to make everything look fabulous, which requires a lot of planning.  Just like your favorite fashion designers, we start planning seasons in advance of actual events.  We use spring to start planning our fall galas and holiday looks.

A Little Known Fact

We love urban gardening!  In fact, we have a garden in our office parking lot.  We grow seasonal items like kale in the winter, and we grow lavender year round.  It is one of the many ways we stay close to mother nature and try to maintain a healthy diet.
