Here Comes 2013! TBC’s Faves from 2012 Revisited

NYEIt’s official – 2012 is nearly the past! If you’re anything like us, you’re planning to enjoy posh food, fabulous friends and an overall divine time bringing in the new year! Here at Tony Brewer and Co., we figure we can’t move forward without acknowledging some of our favorites from the old year and some of our hopes for the new year! As the old saying goes, you can’t know where you’re going if you don’t know where you’ve come from.

What did you enjoy most in 2012 and what are you looking forward to this year? Leave a comment and let us know!

Our favorite moment:

Learning that we would be handling all of the decor for the Atlanta History Center’s exclusive Swan House Ball in April! The celebration raises funds for one of the city’s most celebrated historic groups, at one of the city’s most iconic sites. We hope to see you there on April 27!

Our favorite picture:

When we spotted this graceful image on Pinterest, we just knew we had to share it with our Facebook  friends. You all were as intrigued as we were – this was one of the year’s most popular images! The flowing gown, the beautiful silhouette and the emotion of this black and white picture still take our breath away. It lives up to the quote we posted with it: “Love of beauty is taste. The creation of beauty is art.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson

brooch bouquet, wedding pins

Our favorite bauble:

Brooches! We loved the concept of brooch bouquets, wedding bouquets comprised of beautiful pins and baubles rather than flowers. These unique wedding favors have been gaining a fan base – and it was apparent in how many of you loved the post we did on brooch bouquets! Hopefully you all got some gorgeous pins over the holidays to add to that spring 2013 wedding bouquet!

beach furniture, island furniture, Miami furniture

Our most fun post:

It was unusual, unique and lot’s of fun. We’re talking, of course, about our spring blog entitled “Four Ways to Give Your Event a South Beach Vibe.” There’s something magical about South Beach – but it’s hard to put into words, let alone into a set of tips. We had lots of fun figuring out which things we thought best reflected that South Beach electricity and could translate to a private event. A lot of you enjoyed reading it as well!

And finally,

What we look forward to most in 2013:

Settling into our new location a few miles outside the city, preparing for our big April event and working with new clients to create some of the most elegant wedding and event decor in Atlanta.

Cheers to 2013!
