Gala season is running at full clip and we’re as busy as ever picking out swatches, coordinating themes and just generally putting the “Tony Touch” on everything from the Fernbank Museum’s “Timeless Affair” to the Arthritis Foundation’s Crystal Ball! We’re extra excited this year to add a new client to the roster – Devereux Georgia, a youth-oriented organization hosting “Hope Event: the Art of Feelings” Thursday.
Devereux Georgia is a truly unique organization. Located on a lush, 40-acre campus in Kennesaw, Devereux Georgia is licensed to serve 100 children up to the age of 21 who face emotional and behavioral challenges often brought on by abuse. Through its impressive slate of programs and services, Devereux is able to help these young people gain the skills to succeed in life.
Thursday’s event will take place at Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery at 199 Armour Drive, in Atlanta. It will showcase a silent auction with artwork from current Devereux students.
Such a beautiful cause deserves a beautiful event. Devereux Georgia is helping young people create the lives they dream of – a concept we used as inspiration for the event decor. Artistic creation is the theme showcased throughout the event, with all of the tools of the trade incorporated: painter palettes, paint cans, splattered drop cloths, the works. The challenge was to keep the event decor elegant and upscale while making it visually stimulating and enjoyable for young people.
This colorful fabric swatch was our inspiration. Divine!
Will our painterly event decor hit the mark? You’ll have to attend the Devereux Georgia event or check back with your favorite event decor blog – yours truly – to see!
