This Sept. 15 treat showcases the talents of Atlanta’s own opera, founded in 1979 and considered by many one of the finest regional opera companies in the country. This season includes “Carmen,” “La Traviatta,” and “Italian Girl,” in addition to a few special social events.
And if you’ve ever enjoyed the trembling tenors or booming basso profundos of the Atlanta Opera, then supporting this annual event is a must: The event itself is a fundraiser supporting and sustaining the exceptional artistic quality of the Atlanta Opera. The opera is actually non-profit organization, bringing over $39 million of economic impact to the region each year.
If that doesn’t make you want to slip into something glittery, lock arms with someone beautiful and indulge in an evening on the town, nothing will!
This year’s theme is particularly charming – for “A Night in Seville,” the St. Regis will be transformed into a beautiful Spanish-style courtyard and dining room! Throughout the night, guests will enjoy a luxury auction, flamenco dancing and unique opera surprises, in addition to the elegant flourishes Tony Brewer and Co. have in store for you!
Tickets are available starting today – don’t dawdle, they’re sure to be gone soon!
And if you’re wondering just what does one wear to a night in Seville, here are a few fun ideas:
A form-fitting gown can bring a little sexy Spanish fire…
…while a sheer bolero offers a sophisticated take on the theme!
Or go lower key with just a taste of Seville by adding a mantilla comb in silver, gold or pearl – subtle yet breathtaking!
Whatever you where, we’re sure to see you there!
