Everyday Fancy: Valentine’s Day Recipes

You only have one day left, and some of you still have no idea what to do for Valentine’s Day.  Don’t worry!  We are here to save the day with a simple meal idea that will make you look like a rock star.

The all in main course and sides from Food & Wine will make for an easy night without a lot to clean up.  It only takes an hour to make, and it is a delicious!  Plus, it includes one of our favorite vegetables, kale!  For dessert, we have a simple citrus fruit salad from an old friend that is refreshing and waist band friendly!

Main course:

Dessert:

Ginger Citrus Salad

2 cups orange sections

2 cups grapefruit sections

2 tablespoons sliced candied ginger

3 shakes of bitters (to taste)

Toss it all together, refrigerate for at least an hour, and serve cold.  Also goes with with ginger sorbet.
