Tony Brewer & Company had the honor of setting the opening stage for the Picasso to Warhol exhibit at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Georgia. This exhibit highlights the wonderful partnership the High Museum has built with the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and gives Atlanta a chance to experience pieces from some of the most prized modern artist including Andy Warhol, Romare Bearden, and Pablo Picasso.
When designing the perfect event space for the opening Tony was inspired by white phalaenopsis orchids. The phalaenopsis orchid is exquisite and delicate yet bold all at the same time like many of the pieces in the exhibit. The clean look of the the white phalaenopsis orchid lead to the perfect all white color scheme which layered textures including the microfiber tablecloths that feel like suede to the touch and towering glass vases to reflected the lighting in the room.
There is nothing like a clean white background to reflect the beauty and simplicity of a great piece of modern art.
“My idea of a good picture is one that’s in focus and of a famous person.”
